I live in an area of Cecil County, MD that was once called Battle Swamp. It’s located south of Rising Sun and West Nottingham, and northeast of Port Deposit. The name appeared on Martenet’s Map of Cecil County (1858) but has since disappeared from modern maps. I loved the history and decided to bring it back—this time, in the form of delicious homemade bread!

You sure can! Our bread freezes well for about 3 months. When you’re ready to enjoy it again, just let it thaw at room temp, pop it in the oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes or until it’s nice and crispy again. Good as new!
